Chief Inspector
Area Commander Bute and Cowal
It is an initiative, to encourage people to work together to fight crime and terrorism by being alert to your surroundings and reporting suspicious behaviour. If you pass on information you can increase maritime safety, reduce criminal behaviour and disrupt terrorist activity.
Using a multi-media presentation it will be explained to you about how a terrorist or criminal may operate and the measures you can take to identify, prevent or disrupt criminal activity or a terrorist attack.
What you can expect?
The presentation is a completely free event which will give you valuable information about how terrorists operate.
The whole event including a refreshment break will last about 2 hours.
Counter Terrorism Security Advisors will be available after the presentation to answer questions and give advice.
Leaflets and posters for displaying in your premises and for the information of your staff will be available.
